It’s metronome week. When Mimi told us that at our last coaching, it was like she dropped a bomb. I HATE the metronome. It’s literally like a bomb is ticking. It’s SO annoying to listen to while your playing. Apparently none of the songs we played for her were steady so we need to work on it. Oh well! Music is all about the rhythm.

We are learning Klezmer music. We started a piece called Nicolaev’s Bulgar. It’s so fun. It sounds like a silent movie soundtrack, and it actually IS silent movie music.

Yesterday we had a concert at Fuller Village here in town. Our concert went great. We tried out lots of new stuff. Shout out to a random lady who’s name I don’t know- she was SO sweet. I heard her say at the end, “I love them! They play with so much soul!”
This is old news, but I have pink bow hair on my bow. It looks hot.
